[:ja]パリから北に約40km、行ったところシャンティイというところにシャンティイ城はあります
1989年に姫路城と姉妹城となっていて、とても綺麗なお城です。
シャンティイ城の見どころ
シャンティイ城は、城そのものも綺麗なので、調度品なども豪華なものが多く、じっくり見て飽きないのですが、
ラファエロを始めとする有名な画家の絵画がコレクションされているので、ぜひそれを堪能してください。

地下には、レストラン「La Capitainerie」がありますが、予約でほぼ席が埋まっていることが多いので、事前に予約していくと良いと思います。
それから、シャンティイ城にはベルサイユ宮殿には劣るものの、広い庭があります。
天気が良い場合には、その中を散歩してみるのもいいでしょう。英国式の庭とAnglo-chineseと呼ばれる村のような庭があります。
Anglo Chineseの庭にはレストラン「Le Hameau」があり、そこではホイップクリームの元祖と呼ばれるシャンティイクリームがあるのでぜひ食べてみましょう。
シャンティイ城への行き方
シャンティイ城へは、車だと高速道路に乗ってパリからだいたい25分くらい。駐車場は無料のところや有料のところがあります。
電車だとパリ北駅からシャンティイ駅まで30分ほどで移動し、駅からは、歩いて25〜30分ほどで行くことができます。
