[:ja]皆さんはパングラオ島やバリカサグ島をご存知でしょうか。
パングラオ島やバリカサグ島はどこにある？
これらの島はフィリピンにあってセブ島の南東に位置しているボホール島の近くにあります。
パングラオ島で有名なビーチはAlona Beachというところで、そこはたくさんのリゾートホテルもあり、レストランは海岸にもたくさんあり、さらには道路沿いに内陸のほうまで続いています。
おすすめのホテルは、アロナビーチに面したヘナンリゾートホテル。写真のような感じで1階の部屋からはプールに直接アプローチできるような作りになっています。
朝はアロナビーチの海から昇る朝日を拝むことができ、朝の散歩がてらに海辺に落ちている綺麗な貝殻を見つけるのも良いでしょう。

バリカサグ島ではシュノーケリングやダイビングを楽しめます！
バリカサグ島は、このアロナビーチからバンカーボートで約1時間ほど移動したところにあり、徒歩30分ほどで一周できる小さな島。
でも周囲をサンゴ礁で囲まれていて、保護区になっているところが多く、すぐにドロップオフという海中内の崖があって、シュノーケリングやダイビングを楽しむことができます。
私はシュノーケリングを楽しみましたが、ウミガメが眼下、水深10mほどのところに泳いでいるのを確認することができました。きっとダイビングをされる方であれば、近くまで行って泳ぐこともできることでしょう。

また、バリカサグ島に行く途中では、イルカの群れに出会うことができます。
パングラオ島へのアクセス方法は？
パングラオ島へは、セブ港からパングラオ島の隣のボホール島のタグビララン港へ高速船で3時間、あるいは、タグビララン空港の代わりに、パングラオ島に新しく出来たパングラオ島国際空港まで飛行機で行くことが出来ます。ホテルへは車かトライシクルで行くことができるでしょう。[:en]Have you ever heard of Panglao Island or Balicasag Island?
Where are the islands of Panglao and Balicasag?
These islands are located in the Philippines near the island of Bohol, which is located southeast of Cebu.
The most famous beach on Panglao Island is Alona Beach, where there are many resort hotels and restaurants along the shore and even further inland along the road.
The hotel I recommend is the Henann Resort Hotel facing Alona Beach. It is built in such a way that you can approach the pool directly from the first floor rooms as shown in the above picture.
In the morning, you can watch the sun rise over the ocean at Arona Beach, and find beautiful seashells on the beach as you take your morning walk.

Balicasag Island offers snorkeling and diving!
Balicasag Island is about an hour’s bunker boat ride away from Alona Beach, and is a small island that can be circled in about 30 minutes on foot.
Surrounded by coral reefs, many of which are protected areas, and there is an intra-oceanic cliff called the Drop-Off right next to it, where you can enjoy snorkeling and diving.
I enjoyed snorkeling and was able to see a sea turtle swimming below me at a depth of about 10 meters. If you are a diver, you will probably be able to swim close to them.

You can also see schools of dolphins on the way to Balicasag Island.
How to get to Panglao Island?
To get to Panglao Island, you can take a 3-hour high-speed boat ride from Cebu Port to Tagbilaran Port on Bohol Island, next to Panglao Island, or fly to the new Panglao Island International Airport instead of Tagbilaran Airport. These hotels may be reached by car or tricycle.[:]
